| 英文描述 | BARTONELLA HENSELAE is a Gram-negative, fastidious, facultative intracellular bacterium that can be transmitted from cats to people, and is the cause of 'cat-scratch fever'. Cats can have recurrent bacteremia in the absence of clinical signs. Natural disease in cats due to this organism is rare; results of experimental infection have ranged from no clinical signs to systemic illness. It is possible that some cats and kittens with febrile disease might have BARTONELLA infection. |
